THE
BANK has recently become aware of several email scams relating
to online banking. Customers of some large banks with online
banking web sites have received email which looks official,
but is actually
from unknown persons, asking for the customer to browse to
a particular url , and for various reasons, log-in using
their username and password.
Thus, they are able to harvest these customer's log-in information.
No breach of the customer's accounts have been detected, however.
THE BANK would like to make our customers aware that we will
never send you email asking for your username and password,
or ask you
to log-in to a web site. If you receive any email of this nature,
please do not do as the email requests, and notify us immediately.
